Bekithemba is a highly experienced real estate investment and governance professional with over 20 years of leadership across African property markets, urban infrastructure, and housing finance. He is attuned to urban housing trends, ESG development, and infrastructure innovation. His extensive background includes numerous executive roles and non-executive directorships in diverse institutions, where he has driven strategic growth and investor returns.
His academic credentials include a PhD in Econometrics (University of St Andrews – Scotland), a MSc in International Finance (University of Westminster – England), an MBA and BSc (Hons) in Rural and Urban Planning (University of Zimbabwe). He is a former Senior Lecturer in Real Estate Investment, Economics and Finance at University of Witwatersrand (SA), and has previously served as an Associate Dean for postgraduate real estate programmes at the University of Reading, UK (College of Estate Management). Bekithemba combines technical expertise with practical experience in banking, capital structure, valuations, and policy development, offering a comprehensive view of regulatory and macroeconomic factors shaping investment strategies.
As Chair of REVITUS REIT’s Advisory Board, Bekithemba provides independent oversight, safeguarding investor interests and fostering transparency, ethical standards, and sustainable long-term value creation.
